IFBF County Presidents Meet in McCall

The Farm Bureau county presidents have met every summer since 1939 to discuss issues, markets, and organizational housekeeping within Idaho's largest Agriculture group. Representatives from all of Idaho's 44 counties are attending representing all segments of Idaho's agriculture.

"This is a great opportunity to bring our counties together, talk about issues, build unity to strengthen agriculture and move forward," said Idaho Farm Bureau Federation President Bryan Searle of Shelly. 

2018 is an election year and candidates will address the Presidents. 

"We're happy with the primaries, many of our candidates are on the ballot but doesn't mean they're running unopposed we're not falling asleep. We're gearing up for the general election, Agri-Pac has met again and they're behind our candidates," added Searle.

Market prices are always big concern input prices are up and markets are flat or below break-even prices across the board, despite perfect good growing conditions.
