Bean rules open house meeting
BOISE —The Idaho Bean Commission is hosting a Bean Rules Open House Meeting at Y Knot Winery (formerly Crossings) located at 1289 W Madison Avel, Glenns Ferry, ID 83623 on Sept. 11. Doors open at 9:30 a.m., and presentations and discussion will start shortly thereafter, with refreshments and lunch provided.
Discussion topics will include:

Proposed changes to the Bean Rule that will be presented to the Idaho Legislature in 2020
-
Review of the 2019 growing season and phytosanitary changes
-
Identify any other potential items for discussion and rulemaking in 2020
Representatives from the Idaho Bean Commission, Idaho State Department of Agriculture, Idaho Eastern Oregon Seed Association, and Idaho Crop Improvement Association will be on hand.
